Warriors in the Pros: Bess, Colt, C.J., Ikaika

A Miami Dolphins camp report from yesterday has a link to a Davone Bess video interview. The site also has a transcript of the interview. Thanks to 4uhfan, who also finds this commentary about Bess' chances of making the team, from the Sun-Sentinel's Harvey Fialkov:
Sparano made it clear that AFL alumnus Anthony Armstrong is making it very difficult to ignore him in the fight for one of the last receiver spots behind Ted Ginn Jr., Derek Hagan, Ernest Wilford and yes rookie Davone Bess is a lock - and not for the practice squad - for the slot spot. Sparano said that Armstong caught three bombs in the bubble yesterday!
KOAlovah, another WSNer, finds an interview with Colt Brennan conducted by WJFK, a DC area radio station. Here's a link to the MP3 podcast.

This Washington Post article has an embedded video of reporter Jason Reid analyzing and talking to Colt.

Speaking of Colt, he had a nice pass against the Redskins first team defense today. The post includes a photo of Colt walking off the practice field.
Justifying the picture of Colt Brennan above, he tossed a perfect fade route to Todd Yoder in the corner of the end zone against Reed Doughty and the first team defense.
C.J. Hawthorne made two nice catches in the past couple days.

On Tuesday:
C.J. Hawthorne made an acrobatic catch along the far sideline as he leapt high in the air to pull in a deep out pass from Hamdan.
And Wednesday:
C.J. Hawthorne ran a good crossing route and Gibran Hamdan hit for a big gainer.
And Ikaika Alama-Francis is recovering from a twisted knee.
Defensive end Ikaika Alama-Francis also practiced with his lower left leg wrapped Tuesday. He suffered a twisted knee against the Bengals.
