Warriors in the Pros: Combine News Sites, Newberry

With the NFL Combine underway, here are some links to get your NFL Combine news:
I found some profile/analysis pages of the three Warriors participating in the Combine at that last link:

David Veikune
Veikune, not Hawaii's offense, drew scouts to the islands last season. He put himself on the draft radar with six tackles, one for loss, against Florida the first week of the season. The second-team All-WAC pick (2007 first-team) finished with 73 tackles, 16.5 for loss, nine sacks and four forced fumbles. Veikune may not look like a track star at the Combine, but he certainly earned scouts' respect with his strength, hustle and determination.
Ryan Mouton
This jack of all trades played on both sides of the ball at every level. Mouton was named a Junior College All-American because of his production as a defender and return man and continued the performance after transferring to Hawaii. He didn't make any big plays for the Warriors on offense (eight catches, 71 yards) but returned a kickoff for a touchdown and had six tackles for loss, one interception, eight pass breakups and two forced fumbles as a nickel back. His versatility, speed and attitude may land him a roster spot as a rookie.
Jake Ingram
A former defensive end switched to long snapper during the 2005 season, head coach June Jones believed Ingram was too valuable to be a reserve on defense. NFL scouts are likely to agree with Jones' assessment of Ingram as a long-snapper. Ingram is clearly the top prospect in the country at the vital, if underappreciated, position. He's not a big bruiser who could play center in a pinch but his accuracy and velocity will be valued by teams looking for a reliable snapper.

And former UH cornerback Myron Newberry has joined the Amarillo Dusters of the AF2.
