Speaking of future Warriors, PIAA DS writes that Kailua offensive lineman Chauncy Makainai has committed to UH.

Winchester-Makainai received interest from Boise State, Colorado, Idaho, Michigan State, Utah and Washington.Congrats to Chauncy!
But, he said, “I’m from Hawai‘i, I want to play for my state. … I’ve wanted to play for UH since I was younger.”

Nice to have more players committing to UH. I think UH are getting more and better players earlier than before. Can't wait to see how this year plays out and how much UH can improve in the future.
