Warriors in the Pros: Lots of Links

Ikaika Alama-Francis had one tackle in the Detroit Lions first preseason game of the year.

Leonard Peters had one tackle for the Bears in their preseason game. Ryan Grice-Mullen played but didn't catch a pass.

Ashley Lelie is probably out for tomorrow's 49ers game due to his calf injury.

C.J. Hawthorne made a big catch in Buffalo Bills camp today.
C.J. Hawthorne made his first big play since signing with the club earlier this week as he pulled in a throw from Losman on a deep crossing pattern that would have been a 30 to 40 yard pickup.
Reagan Mauia made a good play in Dolphins camp.
Beck up first. The first play is a sweep left to Ronnie Brown. Great job by Reagan Mauia getting out in front and sealing off Chris Roberson to allow Ronnie to scoot up the sideline.
Washington coach Jim Zorn says he may switch up the QB rotation in the Redskins' next preseason game.
Jim Zorn said he might rotate his quarterbacks differently Saturday than he did in the preseason opener. Starter Jason Campbell will again open the game with the first team, but rookie Colt Brennan might go in next instead of back-up Todd Collins.

Zorn wants to see Brennan operate in different aspects of the offense, considering that a few weeks from now Brennan will be banished to holding a clipboard for another year as he develops. "We may mix and match here as we go on," Zorn said.

Regardless, Collins and Brennan will be playing a lot again, with the starters out there for three series, tops.
This Redskins.com article has more details.
"It's the experiences in the game that I want to give them," Zorn said. "It's possible that I may want to give Colt Brennan a two-minute drill. I've got to see that and I've got to give him that experience. So we may mix and match as we go along."

Brennan said on Thursday that he was nursing a "tight hamstring," but he expected to play.
The Redskins.com front page has a link to a short interview with Colt. It's currently in the Redskins.com TV window and it's titled "Nightly News: 8-7"

And Curly R has a new installment of The Colt Brennan Chronicles, which has even more links to other Colt articles and blog posts. Colt Mania!
