Kicks, Vili, Colt, Early Line, Tsaikos

Dave Reardon asks readers to share their favorite kicks from UH football history. All I gotta say is YOU CAN'T ICE THE ICEMAN!

Vili the Warrior will be at the Vai Sikahema-Jose Canseco fight to hopefully rile up the crowd and intimidate Jose. Interviews with Vili and Vai in this report from KHNL's Jason Tang.

Colt Brennan's hip may be healthy, but he has yet to agree to terms with the Washington Redskins. I'm sure it's just mere formalities.

The early line on the UH-Florida game is Hawaii +27.

Stephen Tsai thanks all the Tsaikos for all their support after the Warrior Beat 2nd Anniversary party. There's photos from the event, as well as text from a proclamation Tsai and his Tsaikos got from the State Legislature. Here's an excerpt:
WHEREAS, his tremendous knowledge and understanding of the complex issues and stories surrounding athletics at the University of Hawaii led STEPHEN TSAI to create a blog known as “The Warrior Beat” on the Honolulu Advertiser’s website, furthering insight into the local sports scene, particularly the Warrior football program, and allowing fans to become interactive through the submission of comments, sharing their knowledge of the game; and

WHEREAS, a small number of individuals began to regularly submit comments on the blog, which averaged 30 posted comments each day, and on December 28, 2006, a group of twelve bloggers finally met in person at Murphy’s Bar and Grill, marking the momentous occasion that led to the establishment of the TSAIKOS, a term that incorporates the dual meanings of the crazed sports fans of the University of Hawaii and the children of Tsai; and
There's a lot more WHEREAS where that came from. Congrats to ST and the Tsai-kos.

Updated 1d 13h ago Subscribe to stories like this
Who's the best kicker in the NFL today? Whose kicks have been the most clutch in the Super Bowl era?

    5. JASON ELAM
1993-2007, Denver Broncos; signed with Atlanta Falcons before 2008 season

About him: Still effective at age 38, Elam is the only player in NFL history to score more than 100 points in his first 15 seasons. A two-time Super Bowl champ with Denver, he kicked a 63-yard field goal in 1998 that tied Tom Dempsey for longest ever. Elam ranks fifth all time with 395 field goals.

Notable stats: Sixth on all-time scoring list with 1,786 points.
