Colt Brennan, who arrived in town yesterday, said he feels he has recovered from hip surgery, and he should be ready to compete fully in training camp.
He will meet with the Colorado specialist who performed his hip surgery.Tsai also has many more offseason workout photos. Here's more from yesterday.
Brennan, who weighs 225, has been told he needs to trim down to 212 or 213 pounds. That will happen once he receives full clearance from the Colorado specialist and can resume a strenuous running program.

Drivers turning a particular corner in Mililani could find a snarling linebacker hot on their tailpipe.Greg McMackin talks about the three upcoming youth football camps at UH.
No doubt a startling sight for the unsuspecting, but no real reason for alarm. It's just Brashton Satele getting ready for the season.
"I just race them like I'm chasing a running back or receiver," said the Hawaii junior, who's sprinted after cars passing through his neighborhood since high school as part of his speed training.
So what reaction does he get from those he pursues?
"They look at me kind of weird sometimes," he said. "Some of them do (get scared). That's good, though. When they push on the gas, that's better for me."
"I really love to walk on the field of youth football," McMackin said. "Like (the Warriors') training camp, it's going to be all positive. They need to hear the positive things they're doing well. We'll correct the things that need to be corrected, but we'll do it in a positive way.More info on the camps can be found here or here.
"That's the important thing in coaching young players. I've got a little guy" — grandson Taylor McMackin — "and that's how I want him to be coached: in a positive way. I want him to learn fundamentals and techniques and ways to get better. Our camp is going to have a lot of positive reinforcement."

A player who doesn't measure up is rendered ineligible and risks losing a scholarship. A school that has too many of them loses scholarships, squad size and, very likely, games and income. But the coach who recruited them is free to move to another institution and bigger paycheck unfettered by whatever mess might be left behind. That's a loophole that begs to be closed.
