Great News at being #12-but Im still a little worried-I'll be rooting against #13 Arizona St sand #14 Tennessee just to be sure they dont leapfrog us. Also a loss from #11 BC to VATech would help make sure we stay #12. Now lets just beat Washington!!

I totally agree this is a real concern because Az St is playing Az and they are ranked higher than Washington. So it would make sense for Az St to move up above Hawaii if they win. I doubt Tenn beats LSU, but given the way things have played out this season, you never know. If that occurs, it will be difficult for the Warriors to stay where they are.
Does anyone know why the top 12 teams are guaranteed a BCS berth when there are only 5 BCS bowls w/ 10 spots available?

The top 12 teams are not guaranteed. But if a midmajor wins its conference and finishes in the top 12, it is.

for the second anonymous post, you are mistaken on that comment. any team not in the auto qualifier conference that finishes top 12 get a spot.
