Video of Reagan, Tala, Samson, Paul
CBS4, a TV station in South Florida, did a news story on the Polynesian influence Reagan Mauia, Tala Esera, Samson Satele and Paul Soliai of Utah are bringing to the Miami Dolphins. They show video of the Hawaii Warriors doing the haka from last year, as well as clips from the now famous videos of Tala head-butting a wall and Reagan running through it at the Ikei training center. It's great to see the attention they're getting in Miami, but the anchor and sportscaster nearly ruin the story with some really corny commentary at the end. And while corny commentary is my specialty, I hope it's never as bad as that. Anyway, check it out.

Tombo,
Saw the video. Wasn't that bad. In fact, I thought the overall story was pretty good. Thanks for posting it. This is great exposure for UH having so many names in the news. This has to help w/ recruiting from now on. Esp on the east coast which doesn't see that many Hawaii games.
I just have this feeling that Hawaii's reputation keeps getting better and better.

hey niall,
the news story was great, the commentary and dancing afterwards was just grating. maybe that's just me. anyway, i agree that stories like this are good exposure for UH. i hope all of four of them make the team and become a force for the phins. they'll be fun to watch. thanks again for stopping by.
