WitP: Ryan Grice-Mullen

The BC Lions dropped their season-opener to the Saskatchewan Roughriders tonight, 28-24. Former UH receiver Ryan Grice-Mullen caught 3 passes for 39 yards, though he did drop a pass that would've put BC ahead late in the game. It did look like a pretty difficult pass to catch though. You can watch that, along with the entire game, courtesy of TSN. Or you can watch Ryan's three catches below.

Being a young player so wide open, I think Wally Buono(head coach of B.C. Lions)is going to let the last one go, but he will only have one more game to really make an impact or at the very least not drop an important ball. The whole offense as a whole was really bad. 7 turnovers and the offensive line allowed 9 sacks. Grice-Mullen opens up alot of space for the veterans Geroy Simon(Maryland) and Paris Jackson(Utah) to own the middle of the field. Canadian Football utilizes to Slotbacks(aka-TE's) instead of one so Grice-Mullen can speed around the larger field to the outside. Heres hoping he bounces back against Hamilton next Friday the 10th. Looking over his shoulder at Terrance Scott(Oregon Ducks)on Practice Roster.
