Warriors in the Pros: Veikune, Samson, LaBoy, Colt

Stephen Tsai writes that David Veikune has been invited to the Senior Bowl.

David Veikune has been invited to play in the Jan. 24 Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala. By accepting, he had to drop out of the East West Shrine Game in Houston. He joins long-snapper Jake Ingram, who received a Senior Bowl invitation the past week. Veikune projects to play defensive end in a 4-3 alignment or outside linebacker in a 3-4.

Although Travis LaBoy has been limited in practice this week due to a nagging ankle injury, Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt expressed optimism that LaBoy will play in today's playoff game.
