WitP: Mouton, Veikune, Ingram, LaBoy, Colt, Niumatalolo

Stephen Tsai writes that Ryan Mouton and David Veikune were invited to the NFL Combine, while Jake Ingram was invited to the Senior Bowl as well as the Combine. Earlier this month, Robert Kekaula said that Ingram, Mouton and Veikune were expected to be invited to the Senior Bowl, so let's hope the rest of the invites are sent out soon!

Travis LaBoy had a limited practice today as he works his way back from a nagging ankle injury. Dave Albee of the Marin Independent Journal spoke to LaBoy about preparing for this Saturday's playoff game against the Panthers.
"You see why they've done well. They're the No. 2 seed (in the NFC playoffs) for a reason," LaBoy said. "They have a veteran quarterback who is not going to see anything he already hasn't seen. We're going to have our hands full."
Colt Brennan made a short video of the Washington Redskins' trainers doing some Jazzercise.

And Navy head coach Ken Niumatalolo just received a contract extension.
After coaching Navy to an 8-5 season, first-year head coach Ken Niumatalolo was awarded a contract extension, athletic director Chet Gladchuk announced today. Terms of the contract were not released.

"Rare is the case when a major coaching transition at this level of competition results in the extraordinary success we realized this past season under Kenny's leadership," Gladchuk said in a news release. "Having been a member of the Naval Academy family for more than a decade as both an associate and head coach, there is no member of our staff that understands the philosophy, values, commitment, objectives and dynamics of this leadership institution more so than he."
