Warriors in the Pros: LaBoy, Bess
Ginger Rough (awesome name) of the Arizona Republic mentions Travis LaBoy's status in an article about treating the Cardinals' injuries.
Like most NFL teams, the Cardinals generally decline to talk about specific treatments they use on injured players, citing privacy.Cardinals' coach Ken Whisenhunt says LaBoy is expected to be ready.
Such is the case with defensive end Travis LaBoy, who is pushing hard to play in tomorrow's game despite a biceps injury that sidelined him in the NFC Championship.
Athletic trainer Reed will say that LaBoy, like others recovering from injuries, will receive a variety of therapies.
"It's a shotgun approach," Reed said. "We're using everything we can and we're treating around the clock."
While the four men on the injury report were limited – running back J.J. Arrington (knee), punter Ben Graham (groin), defensive end Antonio Smith (knee) and defensive end Travis LaBoy (bicep) – Whisenhunt said all were progressing nicely. All are expected to be available against the Steelers. And KGMB's Liz Chun interviewed Davone Bess about his rookie season with the Dolphins. Chun also highlights the Leukemia Lymphoma Society benefit that Bess and Colt Brennan attend.
