Not all of LaBoy's luck with the Cardinals has been good.UPDATE 2: Jack Magruder interviews LaBoy in a special to the Advertiser.
After signing a five-year, $22 million contract with roughly $7.5 million in guarantees he got off to a great start.
He had two sacks in the season opener and four in his first five games. Then he battled leg and ankle injuries, groin pulls and neck strains. He suffered a biceps tendon injury in the NFC Championship, but practiced Wednesday and is expected to play Sunday.
He hasn't recorded a sack since Oct. 5 and he's missed four games.
"It's kind of been a tale of two seasons for me,'' LaBoy said. "A lot of it was injuries, some of it the frustration of injuries.''
Win or lose, LaBoy's post-Super Bowl plans are set.
"We have two or three days of packing and we're out to the Islands for a good two months if possible," he said.
"We try to get back as much as we can. The last offseason got a little short with us having to move, but we look forward to getting back out there this year."
