Warriors in the Pros: Travis LaBoy (w/UPDATES)

AZCardinals.com has a Travis LaBoy injury update:
Whisenhunt said defensive end Travis LaBoy is getting more comfortable with his biceps injury. LaBoy is wearing a special brace and Whisenhunt said the Cards will “get more of a focused look” at how LaBoy will be for Super Bowl Sunday.
And KGMB's Liz Chun had a feature on the three players with Hawaii ties in the Super Bowl -- LaBoy, Aaron Francisco and Chris Kemoeatu.

UPDATE (1/29/09): LaBoy is profiled by Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean.
Not all of LaBoy's luck with the Cardinals has been good.

After signing a five-year, $22 million contract with roughly $7.5 million in guarantees he got off to a great start.

He had two sacks in the season opener and four in his first five games. Then he battled leg and ankle injuries, groin pulls and neck strains. He suffered a biceps tendon injury in the NFC Championship, but practiced Wednesday and is expected to play Sunday.

He hasn't recorded a sack since Oct. 5 and he's missed four games.

"It's kind of been a tale of two seasons for me,'' LaBoy said. "A lot of it was injuries, some of it the frustration of injuries.''
UPDATE 2: Jack Magruder interviews LaBoy in a special to the Advertiser.
Win or lose, LaBoy's post-Super Bowl plans are set.

"We have two or three days of packing and we're out to the Islands for a good two months if possible," he said.

"We try to get back as much as we can. The last offseason got a little short with us having to move, but we look forward to getting back out there this year."
