Warriors in the Pros: NFL Week 6

The Falcons' Jason Elam kicked a 48-yard field goal as time expired to beat the Chicago Bears 22-20.

In a crazy finish, Cowboys punter Mat Briar suffered a sprained right foot when his punt was blocked and recovered in the endzone by the Cardinals to end the game. Earlier, the Cardinals' Travis LaBoy, who had a good game with two quarterback pressures and three tackles, suffered a groin injury. Adding insult to injury, he got called offsides when he couldn't limp off the field in time.

Pisa Tinoisamoa had a great game, racking up 11 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble to help the Rams notch their first victory of the season, beating the Redskins 19-17.
With the Redskins in scoring position near the end of the first half, a pass tipped at the line of scrimmage ended up in the hands of offensive lineman Pete Kendall. Tinoisamoa knocked the ball away from Kendall, and Oshiomogho Atogwe picked it up and ran 75 yards for the touchdown that gave the Rams a 10-7 lead — and momentum that carried into the second half.

"I'm sitting there waiting for someone to blow a whistle or challenge the play or something like that to happen because that's how our year's been," Tinoisamoa said. "But I think this kind of signifies the tides are changing."
Colt Brennan didn't play in the game, but he did have a small cameo (starting at 1:16) in this week's "Mayne Event" on Sunday NFL Countdown.

In the Dolphins loss to the Texans, Davone Bess had one catch for 10 yards and a good day returning the ball.
On a positive note, the coaches put an emphasis on improving the returns in practice this week and rookie Davone Bess averaged 28.3 yards on kickoff returns, and his only punt return was good for 25 yards.
Isaac Sopoaga had three tackles in the 49ers 40-26 loss to the Eagles.

In some bad news from Saturday, Reagan Mauia was released by the Bengals.
