Warriors in the Pros: NFL Week 1

Travis LaBoy had a great game for the Cardinals today, logging four tackles, including two sacks and a forced fumble to seal the victory over the 49ers.
It was over when ...
Defensive end Travis LaBoy sacked J.T. O'Sullivan, forced him to fumble and then made the recovery to seal the Cardinals' 23-13 victory with just under two minutes remaining. The Cardinals outscored the 49ers, 13-3, in the second half.
The page has a video with highlights from the game, including LaBoy's forced fumble. For the 49ers, Jeff Ulbrich had six solo tackles while Isaac Sopoaga had four solo and an assist.

Davone Bess was on the field a lot in his NFL regular season debut, catching one pass for 8 yards, returning a kick for 21 yards and a punt for 25 yards against the Jets.

His teammate Samson Satele may have had a tough game today, but he received praise from his teammates this week.
Miami's best blocker? Center Samson Satele, Crowder said. Jason Ferguson predicts Satele will be a Pro Bowler ''because you won't find anyone more athletic playing center.'' Satele said Ferguson has taught him more than did ex-Dolphin Keith Traylor, ''who was doing his own thing.'' Vonnie Holliday and Andre' Goodman, among others, say the offensive line is clearly Miami's most improved unit.
Jason Elam was 2 of 2 on field goals, including a 50-yarder in the Falcons victory over the Lions. Ikaika-Alama Francis was inactive for the game. Elam was profiled in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution yesterday.

Pisa Tinoisamoa had 3 solo tackles and 3 assists in the Rams loss to the Eagles.

Vince Manuwai sustained a sprained knee in the Jaguars vs Titans game.

Reagan Mauia was declared inactive for the Bengals vs Ravens game.

And Ashley Lelie is gearing up for a Monday night showdown against the Broncos.
*Higgins is the No. 3 receiver right now, but Kiffin is impressed with how Ashley Lelie has caught on to the offense.

Lelie figures to play a role in the offense on Monday.

"He's a professional," Kiffin said. "And you can see by the way he prepares and how fast he's picked everything up."
