Monday Pressers / Photos

Stephen Tsai has notes from Greg McMackin's Monday press conference with the local media.
A feisty Greg McMackin declared he is “not a real happy a camper right now” during today’s news conference.
In particularl, McMackin said there was a breakdown in punt coverage against Oregon State. He said he will make some personnel changes.
He also said he will create competition at placekicker. Dan Kelly has missed three consecutive field-goal attempts. McMackin said Brett Symonds, who was supposed to redshirt, and safety Kenny Estes will receive work there.
He supported offensive Ron Lee’s play-calling, but emphasized his pledge to make the offense more “attack” oriented. He also expects the Warriors to pass more.
Dave Reardon has some notes as well.
Two other special teams players will be replaced, McMackin said, and there will be a special teams scrimmage (not live tackling on return guys) in practice. … The extent of the injury to senior quarterback Tyler Graunke’s (hand? wrist? thumb? arm was even mentioned today) is unknown. McMackin doesn’t plan to announce the starting quarterback for the Sept. 27 San Jose State game until “rigbt before the game.” … “This might be the first time we close practice,” he said.
Earlier in the morning, Mack answered a few questions during the WAC coaches teleconference.

And Island Sports Media has some photos from the Oregon State tailgate and game.
