Warriors in the Pros: NFL Week 2

Davone Bess caught 2 passes for 13 yards, ran once for 13 yards, and returned 3 kicks for an average of 27 yards in a loss to the Cardinals. And it looks like he's getting a larger role on the Dolphins.
Undrafted rookie free agent Davone Bess, who earlier this week Sparano said has more quickness and run-after-catch ability than Ginn, has seen his role steadily grow. Not only did Bess return all the punts, and three kickoffs for 81 yards. But he also caught two passes for 13 yards as the Dolphins slot receiver.

And it appears both of those passes were plays designed for the former Hawaii standout.

"I'm starting to feel really good about my growth. The more they give me opportunity the more I just want to be able to showcase my ability," Bess said. "This has been a long, long journey, and it's not the end of it. It's just the beginning."
Travis LaBoy didn't have any stats in the game.

Ashley Lelie caught one pass for 11 yards, which was the only reception by a Raiders wide receiver. JaMarcus Russell ended up with only 55 yard passing yards, but it didn't matter as Oakland racked up 300 yards on the ground in a victory over the Chiefs.

Jason Elam was 3 for 3 on field goals, scoring all nine of Atlanta's points in a loss to Tampa Bay.

Rams linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa recorded 4 solo tackles and an assist in a loss to the Giants.

Isaac Sopoaga and Jeff Ulbrich recorded two tackles apiece as the 49ers beat the Seahawks.

Ikaika Alama-Francis had one tackle as the Lions lost to the Packers.

Reagan Mauia, Colt Brennan and Kynan Forney were inactive for their respective games.

Thank you for giving us something else to read about. I won't give up on UH but just needed something else to make me forget yesterday's game.

This year has lots of changes: new coaches, new players, new starters and a tough schedule courtesy of the best change--no more HF! So what if they lose a few games, main thing is the identify problems and get better. Hope the injured players have enough time to get better in the next couple weeks.
