Gameday: UH vs OSU. GO WARRIORS!!!

Tombo and friends are up there in Corvallis so I'm trying to cover for him. He'll blog in later with a first hand report from gameday.

Ferd talks about the importance of this game in regards to recruiting. He also talks about Coach Mac's familiarity with the state.

Funny, Stephen writes a similar article about Coach McMackin returning home.

Stephen also goes over a position by position comparison.

Jason Kaneshiro warns that the Beavers still have a bite despite being 0-2.

From Oregon:

The Oregonian reiterates that this is a MUST WIN game for OSU.

The Gazette Times also discusses the importance of the game to the 16 Hawaii players on the team.

here's last night's news coverage. Coach Cav and his wife talk to Liz about her kidney transplant. Liz is also at practice in Eugene. Tyler and Adam talk about the Beavers. Also Kea'o talks about their WRs.

And I quote, " I see alot of touchdown passes,...blah blah blah". Very confident and cocky I might add. Where is Colt when we need him???? I knew from the beginning that once Graunke was to take charge of QB, things for Hawaii would start to go down hill. I can't even pronouce what the score is...I'm speechless:). I wonder what Graunke has to say now..."I see alot of passes and TD, I have a great group of recievers..."blah blah blah. And the phoenix shall falter once more:)

Offense definitely needs to find an identity during this bye week. The special teams was awful. We are lucky that Oregon St. is really not that good because otherwise it would have been 28-7 in the first quarter alone. OSU had no business starting on their 45, 48, Hawaii's 25, and Hawaii's 40. I think it was something like that. It is very unfortunate that the defense gets abused game in and game out because of the offense's misfirings and special teams breakdowns. Defense rose to the occasion at the beginning but you only can hold a team off so much. I too was a defensive player and I know what it is like when the offense just keeps you on the field. Go Warriors and keep playing hard. And fans dont jump off the bandwagon already.

Are the warriors so good to where they dont have to try and block every field goal try by OSU.That is pitiful to watch,I am ashamed to be from hawaii. What the F--k are the coaches thinking? You take it easy like that in the 4th quarter and if you are killing the other team...NOT IN THE 1ST QUARTER!!!!!!!

don't worry brah..I left the bandwagon after June and more importantly Colt left Hawaii. Graunke,...ehh, maybe in another lifetime I'll root for him. He has the opposite Mana as Colt displayed during his time in Hawaii.
