WitP: Patton, Hercules, LP, CO

Looks like Kenny Patton's tryout with the New York Jets went well. He just signed a free agent contract with them.

Hercules Satele is mentioned in this Arizona Cardinals offensive line report.
Arizona did go out and sign a good number of undrafted rookie free agents after last months draft, four of which are offensive linemen. Peter Clifford (Michigan State), Thaddeus Coleman (Mississippi Valley State), Carlton Medder (Florida) and Hercules Satele (Hawaii). Of the four Coleman and Satele would appear to have the best chances of making the team.
Leonard Peters is in the mix to compete at safety for the Chicago Bears.

Chad Owens caught 9 passes for 78 yards and scored a rushing TD in last week's game for the Colorado Crush.

Programming note: I'll be away from the computer for the most part until next Monday or Tuesday. I'll have a wrap-up of the news I missed until then. For up-to-date news, check out the Tsai-blog, the Dave-blog, Sportshawaii.com forums, WSN forums, the newspapers and TV news websites, the links are on the left and right. Shoooots.

If they have nothing to hide, why are they hiding something?

If they are hiding something then they must be hiding something wrong.

Whose side are the attorneys who are advising the UH not to disclose the HGEA members who went to the Sugar Bowl? Is something wrong here?

What is wrong with that Star-Bulletin guy Arnett? He seems to want UH fans to just accept whatever is given and not question anything? He still seems to be upset that Frazier has been "terminated." What is his problem? Does he know something that he does not want to get out? Does he hate his competitor so much? Does he fear his competitor so much? I like Reardon for his reporting but what is wrong with Arnett?

Ferd Lewis from the Honolulu Advertiser is the total opposite--he is always correct and understands that UH fans care and should be given information that someone is hiding. In the end, there may be nothing that they are hiding--if so, then why are they hiding it?

Somehow the two Honolulu daily's have such a diverse opinion of what the public has a right to know. I prefer full disclosure and correct and timely reports to ensure that the UH is doing everything right. I see absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Follow up comments on the Arnett story about who went to the Sugar Bowl and the blacked out list. I believe he is incorrect to say we cannot blame it on Frazier. Frazier was not fired until a couple weeks after the Sugar Bowl which means he was in charge while they were determining who should go. SNAFU is a great acronym that Frazier himself used to describe his situation maybe a year or more ago. It still fits.

The comments to that story--seems that most people don't like Arnett's take. What I don't understand is why a few comments seem to think that Donovan is at fault. He was not named to become the AD at UH until maybe a couple months later, so he had nothing to do with whom was invited to partake in the Sugar Bowl. His involvement is only to clean up someone else's SNAFU.

First found this article on the Warrior's Haka site about Colt Brennan.

This is the link to the original post of this story which you need to copy and paste together:

Easy way is just go to the Warrior's Haka site which is the same story.
