Ah, the Possibilities

This is doo doo.
Division I-AA Northern Colorado has surfaced as a candidate to fill an opening on the University of Hawai'i's 2007 football schedule, possibly in the season opener.

...

The Bears went 1-10 last year, their inaugural season in the Big Sky, after moving up from Division II.
I hope this is just a scenario being floated so that when the actual schedule is released it won't hurt as much. Oh who am I kidding.

In happier bear news, here's a story of a baby polar bear named Knut.
The three-and-a-half-month old white cub padded gingerly round his new enclosure to the gasps and sighs of onlookers.

Fortified by a breakfast of porridge, the puppy-sized cub sniffed the grass and rolled in the dust before delighting the crowds by splashing in a pond.

"I want to take him home," said Daniel Wolff, five, whose mother had bought him a specially made "Knut" cuddly polar bear toy on sale on a stand outside the enclosure.
Awwwww.

Tell me this is an April Fools joke. Please say it isn't so. How could this schedule become so botched up?

I just hope I/we are all wrong and Herman Frazier makes us all look silly for whinning and moaning.
