The Coach Chow Era Begins

It's official:
“I am extremely honored to receive the privilege of leading the University of Hawai'i football program; it is very humbling,” Chow said. “This is a program with great history, and I feel excited and energized about creating a program that will make all of the people of Hawai'i feel pride for the university and our state. I am looking forward to coming home, to family and friends, and I am going to do my best to contribute to the rich history of Hawai'i and its progress. I want to thank President Greenwood, the Board of Regents and Athletics Director Jim Donovan for giving me this opportunity, and I am looking forward to meeting the student body at the University of Hawai'i and getting them excited about Hawai'i Football.”
Welcome Coach Chow!

    Welcome home!

Now can people please stop being ignorant and quit relating Coach Norm Chow's last name to any food related matters.

I'm excited with Coach Chow. So much experience and so much connections he knows his football not like some other past coaches at UH. Hopefully he can keep all the Hawaii talent home. You know he started the Polynesian Pipeline at BYU and now pretty much the whole westcoast now and even now some of our local bruddahs going to the east coast. GO Warriors! 2012-13 season here we come, new era, new hope for Hawaii football hopefully for the good.

Reminds me of a class in had on Project Management. The phases are:

    1. Wild enthusiasm and excitement
    2. Reality sets in
    3. Dysfunctional relationships start to build
    4. Project in malaise
    5. The leaders bail out for promotion before it fails
    6. The hunt for a scapegoat
    7. No one remembers whose idea it was in the first place
    8. Budget info is sealed/concealed and everyone vows never to do it again
