BYU Countdown... UH athletics videos 1 & 2

To help get you fired up for the return BYU to Aloha Stadium this coming Saturday, UH Athletics has compiled videos from last few UH vs BYU matchups.
(I actually had this same idea today, but they beat me to it!)

Video one: "Is this the year!?!?" - 1989

Video two: "Heisman Pose" - 1990

(Larger sized videos on UH's youtube page here.)

More in the next few days.

Chicken skin....

I get the impression that somebody is worried that the Bows might have a hard time against BYU. Maybe I'm reading that wrong...
I'm going to be in Florida later this month with Outback Bowl tickets and I'm looking forward to it.

Dennis Day (aka ER General) give it a rest. How come you don't get it? Jasper, Gabriel, Rolo and others own BYU. And, yeah, they and the UH team were underdogs, but they still won. Past games, rankings, Heisman awards, bowl game, etc. mean nothing when the teams strap it up and go to battle.

I am so happy that the old Hawaii coaching staff was replaced. You know what they say..., "what comes around, goes around". They screwed so much opportunities for so much players. Players lives were ruined by favoritism. Ask any player on the team and they will say the same. Just a thought.

I don't even think Mac knew all the players on the team. What he really cared about was only the starters. In fact, many of his other coaches were like that as well. And thats what sets Norm Chow apart from Mac. He plays no favorites, he is very respectable and he gets straight to the point.

The reason why Mac wasn't respectable was because he BS'd around to much. From what I heard, He promised the team things that didn't get done. He rambled on in meetings about god knows what and the biggest thing of all was he just wasn't cut out to be a division 1 head coach and so were a lot of his coaches on his coaching staff. This all came from the players.
