Tate Forcier wants to be a Warrior. To visit next week

Catching up on a big story that's been building for the last few weeks. Former Michigan(and highly touted hs) quarterback Tate Forcier is looking for a new home and the Warriors are high on his list.
Stephen Tsai from the Honolulu Star Advertiser broke the story a few weeks ago.
"I want to go to (Hawaii) and make sure I meet all of the coaches," Forcier said. "If that's the school I want to go to, I want to make sure it's the right fit...Hawaii will be my first official visit. It might be my last. I have to go with how things go. If it feels right, I'm going to make my decision."

Here's a few other coverages by MSNBC and ESPN
Still not up to full speed with the coverage but until then, keep checking Stephen Tsai's Warrior Beat daily as he covers our guys daily voluntary workouts.

What do you guys think? Good fit? Too much baggage? What about our current backups?

Is there anybody out there that hasn't made a mistake growing up? If he is academically eligible to enroll at UH, shows up with the right atitude and is accepted by his fellow team mates, then give him a chance and allow him to complete for the starting job!

Looked through the Forcier Family www.qbforce.com web site. Seems like he would have to red-shirt one year before he could play two years. Between Coaches Mack, Miano, and Rolo they will be able to tell if he is a good fit. My worry is that in the past Tate was given the job because he is so good, but has not had to compete to start at QB. If he gets to UH it will be because the coaches think he will compete in the UH System/Program. If he does not come, then we have a great stable already.

dont want him. he would be too far behind the other backups to make a difference, both in knowing the system and having chemistry with the receivers.

Stay cool and be kind. If Mack, Miano, and Rolo say Tate Forcier can compete for starting job, then everyone else is the better for it, and they all know it. We have the current luxury of not having to worry about it this year and we have the skills people we need. Can you believe Royce Pollard had 64 catches for 901 yards and seven touchdowns last season with Salas and Pilares getting all their balls too. Go Royce!
