WitP: Juggernaut a Bengal, Colt, Ash

Reagan Mauia signed with the Cincinnati Bengals today.
The Bengals confirmed Maui'a's signing late Wednesday afternoon. The 6-0, 260-pound Maui'a, a native of American Samoa who went to high school in California, played in all 16 games for Miami last year.
Thanks to Double_L for the news.

Colt Brennan is part of a pretty awesome fantasy football league with some of his Redskins teammates, including Jason Campbell, Chris Cooley, Santana Moss, etc. Via Cooley's blog, here's a video of their draft, with a few brief appearances by Colt.

And finally, Ashley Lelie might see a lot of playing time on Monday night, when his new team, the Raiders, meets his first team, the Broncos.
With starting receiver Javon Walker slowed by a slightly pulled hamstring this week, newly acquired Ashley Lelie better be a quick study of his new offense because he might be counted on heavily in the season opener against Denver.
Lelie participated in his first practice with the Raiders on Wednesday, but had already begun the crash course in learning the Oakland system. Lelie had a bit of a headstart once he got the playbook, having spent a year with Raiders offensive coordinator Greg Knapp in Atlanta.
"Once I started going through it, I could kind of feel that the terms started to come back to me," Lelie said. "Just have to kind of shift it in my head. The kind of terminology around the league, it's similar, the stuff they talk about. So it wasn't that bad."
"I'd be lying to you if I didn't say I had something else extra in the tank for Denver," he said. "It'll be a fun game. I know a lot of the guys, played with Champ (Bailey) my whole career there. It'll be a fun game."
Via SFGate.com, here's a quote from Raiders QB JaMarcus Russell.
Quarterback JaMarcus Russell sounds impressed after one practice, after which Lelie said Russell's speedball gets there pretty fast.

"I like the way he uses his hands," Russell said. "I think the ball caught up to him pretty fast but he did a good job of using his hands to get them."
