On junior quarterback Inoke Funaki being named the new starter:
Inoke Funaki came in and played his heart out. That’s what coaching and players are all about. When I told him he wasn’t the guy, he didn’t cry, he didn’t whine, he just tried to make the other guys better and when he got his opportunity he made the most of it and that’s why he’s going to get his shot. (Offensive coordinator) Ron Lee, Rolo (quarterbacks coach Nick Rolovich) and I all believe he deserves a shot this week...he’s got characteristics that make him a winner.

Whoa! That tattoo on the player's face is Mike Tyson style one time for your mind! Awesome! Haha!
With the new unis I'd like to see the players do a "we will protect this hoooooooouuuussssse!" chant after the ha'a.
