Vids / Colt Watch
Irse has the new June Jones Show up.
And if Windows Media gives you problems, OBHawaii has posted The June Jones Show up on Youtube:
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4
Someone named "KillShot32" (yikes!) has posted a video of the new and improved haka UH performed after the UNLV game:
Thanks again to the Warrior fans who post these videos.
======
And here are some articles ranking Colt against other players in the Heisman race.
ESPN ranks Colt at #4. UPDATE: Woops, the ESPN poll is from last week. It updates with this week's votes tomorrow.
SI.com's Gene Menez ranks Colt at #4 as well because Colt doesn't throw enough bombs for his taste.
SI.com's Adam Sweeney gives this week's Passing Pony Award to Colt McCoy because Colt Brennan was DQ'd on a technicality.
CBS Sportsline ranks Colt at #2.
CFN ranks Colt at #1 in their Top Ten Player Rankings.

And though Brennan threw for 298 yards, we won't settle for anything less than 300 against UNLV. McCoy gets the win on a technicality, which puts the score going into Week 4: Brennan 2, McCoy 1.Booooo!
CBS Sportsline ranks Colt at #2.
CFN ranks Colt at #1 in their Top Ten Player Rankings.

The PONY award is bull this week..
Brennan:
Passing: 26of32 for 298 yds, 2 TD's
81.25% Completion Rate, Played only 3 qtrs.Rushing: 3 TD's, All while playing with a sore ankle.
McCoy:
Passing 32of47 for 259yds., 2 TD's, 1 INT. 68.08% Completion Rate. Had to play the whole game to pull out a win vs. UCF.
Now who do you think should have won the Pony award this week...
I thought so.....

Relax dude, he just gave McCoy the award because he probably would feel bad about giving it to Brennan every week with the way Texas is looking recently.
Anyway, just a small clarification, the ESPN Heisman rankings are from last week, they don't update the voting for Week 3 until Tuesday.

All right.. I understand that point about not constantly giving it to Brennan.. even though he clearly is the better QB.. This is probably the same reason the WAC didn't give Brennan Player of The Week award again, for the 3rd week in a row..
Although I have to admit those 2 big receptions Chris Williams had including the game winner.. did warrant him winning the award this week.

when they started that "passing pony" award, they probably did it just to be funny -- hee hee, let's compare the two colts. but now they see how CB is doing each week, and CM can't compare, so now they gotta implement a spread to appease mad texas fans.
kensai, thanks for the correction, i'll make a note.
