Need Your Football Fix?? Spring practice!

Worried about the NFL, stalled labor talks and the possibility of no season next fall? Don't worry, the Warriors will be there crackin' some helmets and hopefully putting up the same big numbers both offensively and defensively.
Spring practice starts tomorrow on the lower campus fields and the Star Advertiser's Stephen Tsai provides a preview to the depth chart and outlook for each position:
"This spring is a crucial spring for us," said McMackin, who is 23-18 in three seasons as UH's head coach. "If you look at our team, we have a lot of talent, but we don't have a lot of experience. The guys we lost had an outstanding season. But we have guys who have been getting reps and are talented, and in some ways, we're excited about our young players. They're ready to go."

Sportshawaii.com's BigWave96744 has also begun his daily player/roster update by providing pictures/stats/video of each Warrior on this year's roster. Keep checking that link daily for the next Warrior to be profiled.
Today's Warrior: DB, Marcus Cooley

    ATTN: All UH Graduates:

GIVE SOME DAMN MONEY to your school's athletic department. Ever wonder why we get SPANKED ON ESPN by teams like wisc, nd, tulsa, uga, and usc? Tired of losing LOCAL 5/4-Star recruits to these teams? The boosters of these schools donate thousands and thousands of dollars a year. ThIS money is used on facilities- which attract the best coaches and players. If
UH alums weren't so stingy with their checkbooks we could still have June Jones, and some sort of respect on the mainland. NO BIG TIME COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYER (THAT HASN'T BEEN ARRESTED) WANTS TO COME TO UH AND PLAY IN A GIANT RUST BUCKET 35 MINUTES AWAY FROM CAMPUS THAT AVERAGES ABOUT 30K PPL. RESPOND WITH MONEY!!!!! EA NA TOA, EA NA TOA E!!!

The first person to comment it right. Clearly angry, but right
