Prior to the football game, student-athletes from the UH baseball, softball, and men’s and women’s basketball teams will be at the stadium gates accepting donations on behalf of the American Red Cross’ disaster relief efforts.
UH fans are encouraged to "Think Green" and show their UH pride by wearing green shirts when attending Hawai`i sporting events. Head Football Coach Greg McMackin is leading the charge and hopes Warrior Nation turns out in green for the team's WAC home opener against Fresno State on Saturday, Oct. 10, at Aloha Stadium at 5:05 p.m.The Aloha Stadium website has directions, parking, shuttle bus and other info.
"When our players and coaches look into the stands and see a sea of green, it really energizes us and fills us with pride." McMackin said. "I want our fans to embrace a ‘Think Green' mindset, so we have a unified and consistent look in the stands during all of our home and away games."
