Video and Blog Reports: Spring Day 4

Chawan Cut compiles the news -- KGMB reports about the $10 million released to help upgrade and maintain Aloha Stadium. KFVE's Jason Tang profiles new UH football coaches Chris Tormey and Gordy Shaw. There's also news about the All Poly Camp, UH baseball, etc.

Stephen Tsai has a report from Day 4 of spring practice. Here's an excerpt:
• The Warriors are placing more emphasis in the trenches. There is an extended drill that focuses solely on inside runs. Leon Wright-Jackson, Inoke Funaki, Jayson Rego and Hogan Rosehill are earning their yards.
• Running back Daniel Libre, who has petitioned for an extra season, has not practiced this spring. But he works out daily in the weight room.
And Jason Kaneshiro has some practice notes:
>> Brashton Satele hurt his shoulder on a running play, but should be OK. In the meantime, Mana Lolotai moved up to the first unit backed up by Jake Heun.

>> Lametrius Davis, a safety last week, worked at cornerback today. He was expected to see time at both spots this spring and backed up fellow JC transfer Melvin Hopkins, another Navarro product, in today’s practice.
