Ao Boy and Iceman POTW!

Keao Monteilh and Dan Kelly have been named the WAC defensive and special teams players of the week.
Monteilh, a senior from Honolulu, Hawaii (Saint Louis School), recorded seven tackles (3 solo) and had two interceptions in Hawai‘i’s 32-29 overtime win at Fresno State. His first pick came in the second quarter and led to a Warrior field goal and a 19-3 lead. His second interception came at Hawai‘i’s eight-yard line right before the half, stopping a Fresno State drive and preserving a 19-9 lead at the intermission.

Kelly, a senior from Temecula, Calif. (Linfield Christian HS), made a career-high four field goals in the win at Fresno State. He connected from 36, 30, 41 and 33 with the final kick the game-winner in overtime. Kelly scored 14 of Hawai‘i’s 32 points in the game.
