Oregon State games in 2013 and 2014

Yesterday Tulane was added to UH's 2011 schedule after Oregon State requested that their scheduled 2011 game be moved to 2014. I noted that there was already a UH-OSU matchup scheduled for 2014, so... where did that game go to? Oregon State athletic director Bob De Carolis provides some clarification and says that there will now be a game in 2013.

Oregon State’s football game at Hawaii in 2011 has been bumped back to Sept. 6, 2014, with the home game of the two-game series Sept. 7, 2013, according to athletic director Bob De Carolis.

The Beavers asked for the change because it was scheduled for the last week of the season. The new Pacific-12 Conference will hold a conference title game if Colorado joins by then, and that’s when the game would be played.

Colorado may be forced to stay in the Big 12 Conference until 2012, but OSU is clearing up its schedule to be ready.

“Yes, we are in the midst of trading revisions to the contract,” De Carolis said in an e-mail. “So we are moving it to 2013 and 2014.”
