Greg Alexander Out for the Year
Really disappointing news:
Hawaii quarterback Greg Alexander will miss the remainder of the season due to major ligament damage in his left knee suffered in Wednesday’s loss at Louisiana Tech, according to a release from the university today. The senior who entered the week as the nation's leader in total offense will have surgery on Saturday. And Stephen Tsai writes that it's very likely the end of his college career:
Alexander is a senior and because he has played more than three games this season his UH career is over. He is not eligible for a medical hardship. Here's the HawaiiAthletics.com press release.

Let's do a recap? When June Jones took over the UH Football Team, their previous year was 0 wins and 12 loses. In his first year with that same team (apply manpower adjustments), the same team became WAC Champions and June Jones received The College Coach Award of the Year! Mr. MacMackin from our observations of side line games played thus far. He is running the entire show! What happened to Ron Lee and Calvin Lee? Perhaps we should consider, our College Kids are playing against teams being taught by NFL Coaches! Can someone highlight Ron and Calvin Lee NFL Experiences?
Or are we still in the High School Football Level? Just wondering? Another thing to ask our UH Football Players, "are they having fun playing football"? The winning teams always seem to have fun, while playing hard! Hummm!!!
