Sixty-one current or former University of Hawai‘i student-athletes will be among the hundreds of graduates at the Spring Commencement Exercises Saturday, May 16 at the Stan Sheriff Center. Here's a list of the football players walking tomorrow:
The football team has the most graduates with 10 followed by baseball (8), track and field (7), sailing (6), cheerleading (5), swimming and diving (4), men’s volleyball (4), men’s basketball (3), men’s golf (3), soccer (3) women’s golf (2), softball (2), women’s volleyball (2), women’s basketball (1), and water polo (1).
Football (10)Congratulations to all the UH students who worked so hard for their degrees. I'm still wondering what kind of handshake-free congratulatory salute UH will use tomorrow. If they're still undecided, I offer these three suggestions:
Solomon Elimimian
Antwan (Tua) Mahaley
Chris Leatigaga
Keao Monteilh
Dane Porlas
Erik Robinson
Keoni Steinhoff
Tuika Tufaga
Lafu Tuioti Mariner
Keala Watson

I'm proud of guys who are walking. Getting a degree from UH was one of the greatest moments in my life, along with the birth of my kids. I hope these young guys realize that getting a degree is as great an accomplishment as being WAC Champion.
Good to hear from you Colt!
