From the Blogs: Rausch Approved, Boise Notes

Stephen Tsai writes that the NCAA reinstated Brent Rausch.

The good news is the NCAA reinstated quarterback Brent Rausch, deciding that he should not be penalized for a clerical error. (He punched in the wrong code on an eligibility form in August.) The bad news is the decision came too late to help Rausch, who was left behind on this trip to Boise. Jake Santos replaced Rausch on the 65-player roster.

Tsai also has some notes from Boise. And so does Dave Reardon.

A patch of about 700 Hawaii fans is expected to dot the orange-and-blue crowd at Bronco Stadium tomorrow.

Former UH defensive back and graduate assistant Keith Bhonapha stopped by to say hello to the Warrior coaches. The Boise State director of football operations didn’t stay long, though.
