Halftime - Florida 28, Hawaii 0

Some observations and thoughts:

The UH offense looked pretty good in the first quarter running the ball and throwing short shovel passes.

Daniel Libre looks really good.

Leon Wright-Jackson had a slow start, but he looks great as well.

The defense has given up two touchdowns, but they are holding their own. Nice plays by Adam Leonard, Ryan Mouton and Keao Monteilh.

Maybe the off-and-on rain will help UH in the proverbial 4th quarter.

The four turnovers by UH's offense -- painful!

Bloody Marys for breakfast -- not a good idea!

Onto the second half...

Where was the defense? There was no pressure on the QB and the defense look like they were running in slow motion while Florida looked like they were lightning. And what they hell is the head coach thinking by leaving that loser QB in the game. After his 3rd bonehead error he should have been benched. No, he stayed in and practically gave the game away. I guess UH will have a record completely opposite of last year, 0-12. Today I hope it was a eye opening wake up call to the coaching staff. Yes I know that Florida was rated 5th but come on!
UH Warriors looked like UH Wussies!

Wow, thanks for those enlightening comments.

You know, you could have just posted your comment anonymously rather than waste the time thinking up your catchy little screen name.

Or are you planning on trolling here for the entire season?

UHwho...Are you the same guy who left the comment in the other forum saying Mack sucks? The defense played hard and looked tough. Thats why these forums get frustrating at times because there are people that come on these things that have no football knowledge. Anyone could see that the defense was put in horrible situations (turnovers, florida fake punt, etc.) Anyway, Florida would make a lot of teams look slow. Which is why I believe Hawaii will take that next step when they start recruiting "speed". You know what they say "you either recruit speed or you chase it."

It wasn't me that made the comment about the coach. But I like the way the person thinks. LOL.
