From the Blogs: Practice Reports

Stephen Tsai writes that Colt Brennan is feeling much better.
Colt Brennan said he feels as if he's close to being 100 percent, has no symptoms from the concussion he suffered Saturday night, and is hopeful of playing in Friday's nationally televised game against Nevada.
But he will be held out of tomorrow's practice as a precaution, and he acknowledged that the decision on his availability will be based on long-term ramifications and the chances of suffering a recurrence.
Dave Reardon also has some observations from the field.
He didn’t throw today, but looked and sounded like always. Asked about any loss of memory or if he knows if he was unconscious Saturday after the big hit, Brennan made a joke about not remembering things from the day before under normal circumstances.
Tyler Graunke and Inoke Funaki took the quarterback reps, with third-stringer Funaki taking the lion’s share. Jones said it was to get Funaki up to speed and did not signal a change in the depth chart. He said both might play if Brennan can’t.

I'm born and raised in hawaii living in Los Angeles now. I remember growing up as a young boy going to hawaii football games every saturday in the fall and the team wasn't that good. We all wanted them to win but we also went together as a family because this is ALOHA. Love. Not being in hawaii for this saturday's game hurts because of how much i've seen. I've seen the loses, and not to take anything away from our current players but the old school fans of UH Football mean so much to the football program because they are passionate about their football. It's the closest we have compared to NFL. I love Hawaii Football and this saturday's game will be very emotional. I'll be watching it on tv saturday night looking for all of my beloved fans of UH. It's actually raining here in Los Angeles today for the first time in six months. I just want the people of hawaii to know how much love we have for Hawaii, not just football. I'm soo proud the team. This UH Team has brought soo much more Aloha to the islands than any other team. I love you guys soo much. There will be a rainbow later today in LA
